I don’t have much to say about Rendezvous given how limited my time with the production was I signed up to be best boy a role I had never done before, I prepped for it (learnt the lights; set up, pack down, operation), signed the crew contracts. Then I got horrendously sick and couldn’t make it for every day of shooting except the last, a day when we were exclusively using stage lights.

But I showed up anyway because an extra pair of hands is always useful; assuming you know when you’re needed and when you’re not (a skill I like to think I’ve developed). I spent my single day on set moving cherry boxes, shot bags, holding iPads, and being a spotter for our DOP/Camera Op and I didn’t get yelled at once by the Director for messing things up.

It was a good lesson in turning up, doing your job and making yourself useful where and when you can. Though from what I’ve heard from the rest of the crew and BTS stills it looks like it was a fun shoot, I wish I could’ve been there.
